I found the hotel to be in a perfect location to explore the Black Forest and surrounding areas. The views of the Hornberg Castle ruins and the valley were fantastic, and the comfortable beds added to the charm of the stay. However, the rooms were very ordinary and not as pictured, lacking an electric tea kettle for added comfort when enjoying the valley view.
